Milk vs. War:
and Milk wins?!
i've gotta say i'm surprised at how many people have commented on the last post re: milk (5!! which is quite a few for me) and barely anyone has had anything to say in reference to several previous posts re: the iraq war, etc.
I genuinely appreciate any comment about anything, and i'm not trying to attack the few that read my blog! it's just that i'm surprised.

Got Acne? Nonfat milk contains a higher concentration of whey proteins and therefore hormones, and consumption of it further elevates the body's level of the hormone IGF-1. Either of these factors may increase the the risk of acne. Those who drink more than 2 servings per day of skim are 44% more likely to be diagnosed with acne compared to 22% of those that drank 3 servings of any milk (including whole).
Corb BLAND. I really can't understand why anyone likes this guy's music. The worst (as in flat and monotone) voice in Canada since Randy Bachman. The Smalls sucked too.

This movie sucks: The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. It is an abomination. The books were so good.

in 2004 George Bush diverted most of the funds meant for the Louisiana Levees to the war in Iraq.

This Divided State. Have any of you seen this? I've just finished watching the clips and I am seriously disturbed, disgusted actually, and embarrassed.

It's been a bit of a slow week on the blogs I frequent. I haven't been too wordy either (maybe it's time to stir things up a bit).
Steve's blog always has something new. The "America is Getting Fatter, and not just the people!" post (wed. sept 7, 05): there's a bulge in Oregon, it's magma equal to a lake 1 mile long, 65 feet deep and growing. So to me, the clincher is: "Oregon has four of the 18 most active volcanoes in the nation -- Mount Hood, Crater Lake, Newberry and South Sister. A recent U.S. Geological Survey report said monitoring is inadequate at all of them, with only basic monitoring at about half of the active volcanoes."
It's unfortunate the American Government is preoccupied with wars and not with actually protecting it's citizens from volcanoes, hurricanes, etc.
It's always fun to say something controversial online, people love to share their opinions, have at 'er.

Looting has been on my mind. I just heard on the radio that some looters were shot in New Orleans. If they were looting a jewelery store maybe they should have been shot at (and not shot to death), but if it was a grocery store I'm thinking they should just leave them alone.
